Position Title: Financial Management Program (FMP) – Intern (FMP) – China Job Type: EID Intern
Minimum GPA: 3.3 Function: Finance
Degrees: Bachelors, Masters
Majors: No limit, but Accounting, Financial Management, and Economics related majors are preferred.

General Electric’s global financial management program started 100 years ago. FMP is widely recognized to be the premier program of its kind. FMP develops leadership and analytical skills through world-class course training and key assignments with all business units within GE. It is the ground stone of a long successful GE career.

Position Description:
The FMP summer intern is designed to give members the opportunity to experience the entire finance function at GE in Greater China.
Length of Time
• Full time during summer break and can be extended after fall semester begins.
• Depending on availability.
Responsibilities
• Hands-on experience may include: financial planning, accounting, operations analysis, auditing, forecasting, treasury/cash management, commercial finance and Six Sigma quality
• Combines job assignments and interactive seminars to equip you with exceptional technical, financial and business skills
• Led by senior GE professionals and mentors
• Develops world-class financial leaders for exciting positions
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor or Master Degree to be expected on Jan/Jul.2016 or later
• Excellent Academic Record (Please include GPA into your resume)
• Demonstrated Leadership Experience
• Analytical Ability
• Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• Flexible/Adaptable/Mobile
• Relevant Academic and/or Work Experience Preferred
Desired Characteristics:
Major in Finance, Accounting, Economic, Statistics, or other related majors
Coachable and focused on personal development
Results oriented
Strong time management skills
Ability to adapt
Proven self-starter
