Postdoctoral positions are available in the laboratory of Dr. Xiaolu Yang at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. The laboratory studies the molecular and cellular mechanisms that protect against cancer and neurodegeneration. Current research topics include: p53 family proteins, tumor cell metabolism, apoptosis or programmed cell death, and cellular systems that degrade misfolded proteins.
