We also need someone with Machine learning background to develop certain internal tool, for example, logging post-analysis. Requirements Proficient skill in software development: C/C++ or Java Good understanding on Algorithm and data structure Good Hands on experience in scripting: Python, Perl or Shell, etc. Good understanding on Machine Learning, pattern recognition and Data analysis. Project based experience is a big plus. Web Development & Database experience is a big plus. Good communications, both in English & Chinese Education: Prefer Master''''s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience. 2.Software Development Engineer Intern (Maps, Beijing) Description We are looking for an outstanding engineering intern who combine highly technical, research and analytical capabilities. As a member of Maps organisation, you will be given the opportunity to con- tribute improving software quality, analysing and researching user behaviour base on usage big data and feature development. This position requires a self-motivated individual with strong problem solving skills who can contribute in a dynamic team environment. Requirements Master or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent Strong Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, problem solving and complexity analysis Strong programming skills with at least one object oriented programming language Experience in big data projects/platforms, excellent knowledge of relational database and Hive will be a plus Experience with machine learning technologies, predictive modelling, customer profiling, hypothesis testing and recommender systems will be a plus Highly motivated, organized and a “can-do” attitude Fluent communication in English Must be able to work 32+ hours a week throughout the internship program GIS related research will be a plus Thorough knowledge of iOS and Mac OS X will be a plus 3.ApplePay BD Intern (Beijing) Summary: Apple Pay is seeking an experienced Intern to join the Apple Pay team to work with BD team to maintain partnerships and strategic alliances with banks and networks in Asia. Partnerships will be focused on identifying business opportunities and working with partners to grow volumes. The candidate will support BD team to work closely and effectively with Apple Pay business leaders, Worldwide Developer Relations, product marketing, and engineering product teams to execute partnership strategies. He/She will need to support BD team to work with internal and external partners to drive major strategic initiatives and enhance product features. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience and knowledge of banking industry, online and mobile payments and contactless payments. Demonstrated passion to ideate, create and deliver new, innovative customer experiences with banks and network partners though the introduction of Apple Pay is a plus. Responsibilities: Work with BD Manager to manage relationship with China issuing banks and support BD team to work with their teams to develop business opportunities for Apple Pay. Support BD team to work with China issuing banks product, market and operation teams to secure a required number of cards provisioned and grow payment volume. Work with BD team and internal cross-functional teams to define partners, product requirements, negotiation strategies. Work with internal stake holders and external stake holders to drive and develop major strategic initiative and enhanced product feature in the Apple Pay ecosystem. Support BD team to continually manage partnerships delivering new feature enhancements and ongoing support to drive customer trial and usage. Experience, Skills & Attributes: Skilled at helping partners identify, navigate and overcome technical or systematic complexities to drive adoption of new technology. Excellent judgment, presence and mature personality. Superior communication skills - written and verbal, fluent in Chinese and English. Self-starter who works effectively in a fast paced environment and is comfortable managing ambiguity. Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance. Energetic and collaborative team player who feeds off of goal setting and achievement. 4. ApplePay Marketing Intern(Beijing) Summary: Apple Pay is seeking an experienced Intern to join the Apple Pay team to work with marketing team, merchant and network/issuer BD to develop and execute the marketing program in Asia. The candidate will support marketing lead to work closely and effectively to drive Apple Pay specific marketing program with issuers, merchants BDs across Asia. The ideal candidate will have experience in marketing role at internet company and familiar in working with issuers. Responsibilities Work with marketing lead, partner comms, issuer BD to review issuers’ marketing campaign submission across Asia. Support Apple Pay marketing campaign execution including partner creative, event execution and communication with issuers. Manage OBO issuers daily marketing execution. Support Apple Pay marketing campaign analysis including data collection and analysis by using numbers/excel Experience, Skills & Attributes: Must have intern/working experience Prefer major in marketing communication Excellent in Keynote, numbers Superior communication skills - written and verbal, fluent in Chinese and English. Self-starter who works effectively in a fast paced environment and is comfortable managing ambiguity.
